Most recently, Lowe wants to illustrate all wildlife and their environment in the Arctic and Antarctic.  This includes illustrations of tide-pool life and all shore and sea birds for educational purposes. Richard and Kitty own their own publishing company (K&R Publishing).  Valley College is proud to have Richard as an alum and a recipient of the 75 People of Distinction Award.
